Services & Fees

An Investment Strategy Starts With Financial Planning

I’ll work with you to develop a financial plan that considers where you are now and the goals you have for the upcoming years. Each element of your plan will be focused on minimizing taxes, building and protecting your wealth towards a lifetime of security.

Financial Planning That Can Help You...

Ensure that you are on track to have enough money during retirement

Minimize lifetime taxes via tax planning

Create a tax-efficient portfolio and withdrawal strategy

Optimize your equity compensation

Fees

In partnering together, your needs and goals are at the core of every step. Since I am a fee-based fiduciary, I do not work for commission and instead have transparent fees that are tailored to your needs. Every phase of our work together is centered around you and collaborating on what you hope to achieve.

HWM believes that a flat fee is the most transparent and free from conflict of interest. No commissions, ever. For continuous financial planning, tax planning, and investment management:

Assets Under Advisement Annual Fee

First $1,000,000 $7200

Each additional $500,000 $1000

For example, a client with a $3,000,000 portfolio would pay an annual fee of $11,200, billed quarterly in arrears and deducted from one or more of your accounts at Schwab. This equates to 0.37% of assets.

What You Get:

  • Ongoing financial planning and tax planning with no less than 2 meetings per year (in-person or virtual)
  • Ongoing Investment management with monthly statements from Schwab, quarterly investment performance reports, and web/app visibility
  • Preparation and filing of your federal and state tax returns
  • Unlimited access to HWM as needed with a single point of contact

Interested in financial and/or tax planning, but prefer an investment roadmap to implement and manage yourself? A one-time fee for this service is $4800 for most clients, and usually requires 3-4 meetings over 3 months. Does not include tax preparation or investment management. Some clients start with a one-time plan and then transition to full-service.
